“On Balance” Seminar with Elisabeth Akinwale @ CrossFit Stimulus- Saturday April 23rd 9-3pm Cost $175


On Balance is a one-day interactive workshop with 5-Time CrossFit Games Athlete, business owner, fitness coach, and mother Elisabeth Akinwale.

Elisabeth will share the specific strategies, resources, and skills that have helped her compete at the highest level of CrossFit while maintaining a focus on life balance and overall health. Build your confidence, mental fortitude, and develop a strengths-based approach to the pursuit of your goals.

Course content will include Gymnastics, Olympic style weightlifting, and a holistic approach to physical & mental training to empower you in accomplishing your personal mission.

Program Includes:
· Developing a proper foundation for building gymnastics skills

· Specific gymnastics skill practice and progressions

· Squatting technique

· Snatch instruction

· Mental preparation for performance–specific strategies and skill practice

· Mindfulness practice

· Compassionate self-care

Details for the Day
The workshop includes 6 hours of content. Participants should come prepared to move and engage, both physically and mentally. Bring your weightlifting shoes and an open mind!

More About Elisabeth
Elisabeth is a five-time CrossFit Games athlete with two individual top ten CrossFit Games finishes, two North Central Regional Championship titles, and over 20 event wins at the Games and Regional levels. Elisabeth is also an accomplished weightlifter with three top ten finishes at national weightlifting competitions, as well as being a player for the Baltimore Anthem in the National Professional GRID League (NPGL).

Elisabeth brings the experience of 15 years of competitive gymnastics, SEALFIT Kokoro 30 completion, CrossFit Level 1 certification, CrossFit Kids certification, and leading more than 60 seminars in fitness facilities around the world.

Elisabeth is a full-time CrossFit trainer at BRICK Chicago. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Chicago, and has practiced in a variety of settings. Elisabeth is the proud mother of one.
